AK Acrylics 3GEN Aircraft Series Rlm 63 (17 ml)
AK Interactive AK11816 RLM 63 is an acrylic paint from the 3GEN Aircraft Series in an 18 ml bottle. Light grey RLM 63 belongs to the pre-war Luftwaffe camouflage and to Legion Condor aircraft in Spain.
RLM 63 comes from the Aircraft Series, the aviation part of AK Interactive's 3GEN acrylics. The paint is supplied in an 18 ml dropper bottle whose cap, according to the manufacturer, makes the shade quick to identify.
According to AK Interactive, the He 51 wore RLM 63 overall, the Bf 109 D and E carried it on the upper surfaces with RLM 65 underneath, and other types had it in the RLM 61/62/63 tri-colour pattern. The manufacturer has included the paint in the AK11714 Spanish Civil War – Legion Condor Aircraft Colors and AK11715 Luftwaffe Pre-WWII Aircraft Colors sets. Modellers use it on German aircraft of the late 1930s and the first months of the war.
