AK Interactive AK1017 Fine Resin Primer Spray Grey (150 ml) is a high-coverage gray primer designed specifically for resin. It is durable, adheres well, and is used for direct priming of cleaned and degreased resin parts, busts, figures, and cast accessories. Resin parts must be thoroughly washed and degreased before spraying, as release agents from the manufacturing process may remain on them.

This is a synthetic spray paint that cures quickly and has good adhesion. Work in a well-ventilated area and protect the surrounding area from overspray.

Recommended Procedure

Clean and degrease the surface, then let it dry completely. Test compatibility on a sample part beforehand.
Shake the can for at least one minute. Hold it upright while working.
Spray quick, thin coats from a distance of approximately 25 cm. A single thick coat may smother details or run.
Allow approximately 5 minutes between coats; let the spray cure thoroughly before masking, applying a patina, or handling.
After use, turn the can upside down and spray briefly until no more material comes out of the nozzle. This will help prevent clogging.
