AK Interactive AK1018 Microfiller Primer Spray (150 ml) is a self-leveling gray micro-filler and spray primer designed to fill fine scratches, sanding marks, minor dents, pores, and other small imperfections before final sanding and painting. Once dry, the surface can be lightly sanded to create a smooth base for further painting. The micro-filler is intended for minor imperfections; deeper gaps and dents should first be repaired with modeling putty.
This is a synthetic spray lacquer with fast curing and good adhesion. Work in a well-ventilated area and protect the surrounding area from overspray.
Recommended Procedure
- Clean and degrease the surface, then let it dry completely. Test for compatibility on a sample piece first.
- Shake the can for at least one minute. Hold it upright while working.
- Spray quick, thin coats from a distance of approximately 25 cm. A single thick coat may obscure details or run.
- Allow approximately 5 minutes between coats; let the spray cure thoroughly before masking, applying a patina, or handling.
- After use, turn the can upside down and spray briefly until no more material comes out of the nozzle. This will help prevent clogging.
