AK Interactive AK8040 Corrosion Texture (100 ml) creates a scale-appropriate texture of corroded metal without coarse particles that would look unnatural on the model. Suitable for exhaust pipes, armor, wrecks, railings, pipes, and metal structures.

Recommended Procedure

Clean the surface, prime it, and apply a base coat of a rusty shade.
Apply the texture with an old brush in a thin, irregular layer. Build up thicker layers gradually.
Once completely dry, add various shades of rust using pigments, washes, or a light drybrush.
Wash tools with water before they dry.
