Recommended Procedure
- Use a fresh, clean, and undamaged twig or small plant.
- Place the lower part into a container with the solution and let it sit overnight so that the preservative replaces the sap.
- Remove the material, let it dry, and then secure it to the scene.
- Since the removal of chlorophyll can cause the natural color to fade over time, the plant can be spray-painted with acrylic paints.
