It is designed for spilled fuel and kerosene streaks on both modern and historical aircraft. This is not a general oil or grease effect; the product is specifically designed to match the color and appearance of aviation kerosene.
Recommended Procedure
- Shake the bottle thoroughly and work on a dry, clean, and fully cured surface.
- Using a fine brush, apply small spots, drops, and streaks only to areas where liquid or lubricant would actually leak.
- For a fresh and pronounced effect, use the product straight from the bottle. For older, fainter, or partially wiped-away marks, dilute it with White Spirit.
- Adjust the size and intensity of the spots with a clean brush dampened with thinner. Apply the next layer only after the previous one has dried.
- Allow the layer to dry thoroughly before applying another coat of paint or another enamel effect.
Use AK Interactive White Spirit 35 ml to blend and remove excess. For finer work and less odor, AK Interactive Odorless Thinner 35 ml is recommended.
