AK9323 Crystal Magic Glue (30 ml) is a resin-based adhesive developed for clear parts, canopies, lenses, and other components that require a clean and inconspicuous bond. It bonds more slowly than cyanoacrylate, allowing time for precise positioning and leaving no typical whitish haze.
The precision nozzle allows you to apply a small amount directly to the joint. The adhesive can also be used to fill small gaps between clear parts; once dry, the result is inconspicuous. The manufacturer also recommends it for creating transparent gemstones or headlight lenses over a pre-painted metallic base.
Recommended Procedure
- Degrease the clear parts and check their fit without applying adhesive.
- Apply a very small amount to the contact surface using the applicator tip.
- Position the part precisely and secure it while the adhesive is still setting slowly.
- Allow the joint to cure completely before handling or finishing.
For larger porous surfaces and dioramas, you can also use AK12014 Wolverine P.V.A. Glue.
