Details make the difference between a mere model and a work of art. AK Vegetation - Autumn Tufts (AK8116) offers modelers the opportunity to faithfully simulate late season vegetation. The colour of the tufts corresponds to grass that has lost its deep green pigment due to the cold and lack of sun and has turned to shades of ochre and brown. This element is crucial for historically accurate representations of scenes from the end of World War II in Europe, modern autumn field exercises or atmospheric fantasy bases.

The 6mm high tufts give the surface the necessary vertical articulation to break up the flat appearance of static grasses and scatterings. They are made of matt fibres that do not reflect light in an unnatural way, ensuring perfect integration into the surrounding terrain.

Instructions for use and application tips

Working with this product is designed for maximum efficiency. The clusters are placed on a backing film and are provided with their own adhesive layer.

• Application.

• Although the clusters are self-adhesive, we recommend fixing with a small amount of white glue (PVA) or a specialized AK118 Gravel & Sand Fixer for lasting durability (especially for game pieces or rugged surfaces). This fixer will ensure that the clusters stay in place even when the model is handled.

• Combinations.
