Creating a believable summer environment requires colours that reflect the vitality of nature at its most active. AK Vegetation - Summer Green Tufts (AK8120) bring the rich, bright green hues typical of meadows and pastures in the middle of summer to the world of modeling. These details are indispensable for historically accurate representations of scenes such as the post-D-Day operations in Normandy, the summer offensives on the Eastern Front (e.g. Battle of Kursk), or any modern exercises taking place in the summer months.

The 6 mm high fibres have a natural texture and a matt surface that perfectly imitates real grass. They are the ideal choice where you want to create a contrast to the colour of your camouflage technique or let the details of your figures' uniforms stand out.

Usage and recommendations

The product is designed to make working with it as easy and efficient as possible, even for novice modellers.

• Easy handling: each piece is individually placed on the backing sheet. Simply remove it carefully with tweezers and place it in the chosen location on the surface of the base or diorama.

• Fixation. To ensure maximum durability, especially for game models or surfaces with highWe recommend that the clusters are additionally fixed with a small amount of white glue (PVA) or the special AK118 Gravel & Sand Fixer.

• For maximum realism, we recommend combining these summer clumps with other grass heights or small shrubs from the AK-Interactive range to simulate the natural and irregular growth of wild vegetation.

Important note: The kit/package does not contain paint or glue (except for the base self-adhesive layer).
