This part focuses mainly on the interior – the photo-etched sets follow the fuselage from the cockpit through the nose to the waist gun positions, complemented by masks and STEEL seatbelts. Parts II and III cover further sections of the aircraft. The B-17F was the first Flying Fortress version with a nearly frameless Plexiglas nose cone, and in 1942–1943 it bore the brunt of the US Eighth Air Force's daylight raids over Europe.
The base plastic kit is not included.
