Eduard's 1/72 scale model of the Bf 109G-10 Erla is a late variant of the famous German fighterMesserschmitt Bf 109 with the characteristic fuselage produced by Erla during the last phase of World War II. The package does not include the paint or glue needed for assembly.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 is one of the most important fighter aircraft of World War II, having undergone a number of upgrades. The G-10 variant was created as a standardized version based on a combination of various parts of previous models, equipped with the powerful DB 605 D engine and aerodynamic modifications. The subtype produced by Erla was characterised by a slightly modified shape of the nose and engine cowling. Aircraft of this series were deployed mainly in the final stages of the war on both the Western and Eastern fronts.
