Classic Kit tank A02330 - Vickers Light Tank (1:76)
Airfix 1/76 Vickers Light Tank (A02330) from the Classic Kit range is a plastic kit of the British 1930s light tank. The kit has 35 parts and decals for three schemes. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
The Vickers Light Tank was one of the first British tanks of the 1930s built in large numbers and was essentially an armoured reconnaissance vehicle. The manufacturer highlights its high build quality and the pair of Vickers machine guns in the turret. The British Expeditionary Force used it in France, and the vehicles also fought in the Western Desert at the start of the Second World War, though they were no match for newer German and Italian guns. According to the manufacturer, the kit depicts the Mk.VI version.
The Airfix A02330 kit contains 35 plastic parts, an instruction sheet, a painting guide and decals for three marking schemes. The finished model measures about 5.1 cm in length and 2.7 cm in width. Airfix rates it at skill level 1, so it is suitable for beginners too.
1/76 is the traditional British scale for military vehicles, and the model sits well with other vehicles and figures in this scale, for example in a small diorama. Paints and glues needed for assembly are not included.
