Eduard BIG72193 F-14D 1/72 combines three Eduard upgrade sets for the Grumman F-14D Super Tomcat carrier-based fighter in 1/72 scale in one value bundle, designed for the Tamiya kit:
Set contents
- 73044 Remove Before Flight STEEL – photo-etched set
- CX708 F-14D – masks
- 73868 F-14D – photo-etched set
The photo-etched set refines details that the plastic only suggests in 1/72 scale, the masks make painting easier, and the steel Remove Before Flight streamers bring the model of a parked aircraft to life. The F-14D was the final version of the Tomcat, fitted with General Electric F110 engines and upgraded avionics; it served with the US Navy until the type was retired in 2006.
The base plastic kit is not included.
