Italeri 2776 H-34A Pirate /UH-34D U.S. Marines (1:48)

This plastic kit depicts a helicopter from the Sikorsky HUS-1 Seahorse family, developed as a successor to the HSS-1 Seabat anti-submarine helicopter. From 1957 onward, the type was widely used by the U.S. Marines in the tactical transport role. The real aircraft could carry up to 16 fully equipped troops or about 1,300 kg of supplies and other cargo. Its characteristic features included the Wright R-1820 Cyclone piston engine and a top speed of around 200 km/h.
