Leagues Of Votann: Hekaton Land Fortress

The Hekaton Land Fortress is the iconic battle tank and armoured personnel carrier of the Leagues of Votann faction. This venerable and respected vehicle is as powerful as it is resilient – it boasts a formidable arsenal of heavy weapons, exceptionally tough armour and the ability to transport squads of Kin warriors straight into the heart of the battle. Thanks to its versatility, it serves as both a multi-purpose military asset and an unwavering bulwark against any enemy.

This multi-part plastic model builds one Hekaton Land Fortress – an indomitable heavy transporter armed with powerful cannons. The massive six-wheeled vehicle can be built with one of three variants of the adjustable turret weapon: a cyclic ion cannon to eliminate the heaviest infantry; a heavy SP conversion beam cannon that cuts through any target; or a heavy magna-rail cannon capable of reducing even the most resilient tanks to scrap. The main armament is complemented by two pairs of adjustable spherical sponson weapons – either bolt cannons or ion beam cannons. The vehicle also carries a rear MATR autocannon and a pan-spectral scanner, which can be replaced with a missile silo equipped with a ‘Kin’s Wrath’, ‘Mountain Breaker’ or ‘Ancestor’s Vengeance’ warhead.

The model offers extensive customisation options – the tank features reinforced armour plating, transport hatches around the entire circumference for unloading cargo, and a pilot visible through a clear plastic visor. The set includes a choice of three different heads to customise the driver and optional lights for the protective frames. The model is designed to a scale of 1:56, which is the standard for the Warhammer 40,000 game, and stands out as a prominent feature on the battlefield as well as being a rewarding painting project with a wealth of detail to highlight.

The set contains 88 plastic parts and 5 clear plastic parts, and comes with a Leagues of Votann transfer sheet featuring 555 numerals, runes and insignia for the major Leagues. The model is suitable not only for use in Leagues of Votann armies, but also as a standalone painting project or display piece for fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe. The model is supplied unpainted and requires assembly. We recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints. The pack does not contain the paints or glue required for assembly.
