ASK 1/48 Martin-Baker Type 9B Mk.2: a 3D-printed ejection seat with seat belts for the Jaguar GR.1/GR.1A. The Mk.2 version with a rounded top, recommended for Airfix.
In its Mk.2 version this 1/48 ASK seat has a rounded top section with headrest. Woven-texture belts, buckles and fittings are printed directly on the backrest and pan, as are hoses, handles, riveted side panels and the rear frame with catapult tube.
The Jaguar GR.1 and GR.1A served with the RAF as single-seat attack aircraft and were fitted with Martin-Baker Mk.9 series ejection seats. For the 1/48 Airfix Jaguar, ASK offers both the Mk.2 and Mk.3 versions, each with and without belts, so the modeller can choose according to photos of the particular aircraft.
