Information about the original:
The Jaguar aircraft, designed for ground-attack missions, was developed in the 1960s as part of a joint project between the French and British aerospace industries and remained in service with the British Royal Air Force until the end of the first decade of the 21st century, demonstrating exceptional longevity and operational effectiveness. Its two jet engines were capable of reaching and even exceeding a speed of Mach 1.6. It was deployed on numerous and often highly complex missions in a variety of operational areas, including the Balkans and Iraq. The two-seat T2 trainer variant was developed for training RAF pilots. It was also capable of fulfilling its secondary role in live attacks on ground targets and close-air-support missions, but unlike the single-seat version, it was armed with a single 30mm Aden cannon.
