Italeri AMX-T Twin Seater 1:72 is a plastic kit of the two-seat AMX-T version of the AMX “Ghibli”. The real aircraft was developed for advanced training, but it could also serve in ground-attack and close-support missions. The box includes new parts, photo-etched parts, decals for 4 versions and a colour instruction sheet. The finished model is 17.5 cm long, and figures are not included.
The AMX-T variant
Italeri AMX-T Twin Seater 1:72 represents the two-seat version of the AMX “Ghibli”, a programme launched in the 1980s through cooperation between the Italian and Brazilian aerospace industries. The AMX was intended to replace the Fiat G-91Y in Italian service and the MB-326 in Brazil. The AMX-T was developed primarily as an advanced trainer, while retaining the ability to fly ground-attack and close-support missions. Italy acquired 26 of these aircraft for its Air Force.
