Italeri 1/24 Freightliner Aerodyne is a plastic kit of an American long-haul road tractor. The distinctive Aerodyne cab has a raised roof over the sleeper area, giving the driver more living space during stops on long journeys. The kit depicts the tractor unit itself, rather than a tractor-and-trailer combination.
In addition to rubber tyres and chromed parts, the mouldings include an engine and cab interior fittings. Decals feature bold stripes, flames and a tiger motif. The finished model is approximately 33.8 cm long. Italeri assigns skill level 5 on its own scale, so experience with larger vehicle kits is helpful. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
