Introducing Mr. Premium Top Coat Gloss (88 ml) B601, a top-of-the-line product from the Mr. Hobby line that offers modelers exceptional protection and brilliant shine with minimal risk. It is an improved and safer version of the standard Top Coat sprays.

💧 Sparing and Quality

The main advantage of the Premium Top Coat range is its water-based formulation (Aqueous Hobby Color), which minimises the risk of damage to the underlying layers:

• Maximum Gentleness: thanks to its very mild formulation, which does not contain strong solvents, this varnish will not damage sensitive surfaces. You can apply it directly to decals, shading (wash) and most types of paints, including solvent-based paints (lacquer), with high confidence without risk of melting or damage.

• Glossy Surface: Produces a deep, smooth and even gloss that is crucial for civil machinery, racing cars, or as a base gloss layer before applying decals where it effectively prevents silvering.

• The high quality resin and its thickness ensure excellent transparency and strength of the coating. The formulation is designed to minimize the "whitening" (white fogging) phenomenon that can occur with lower quality varnishes at higher humidity or with heavier spraying.

💡 Application Tips

• Shake the can thoroughly before use.

• Apply in two to three thin coats from a distance of 20-25 cm.

• The varnish is virtually odourless and dries quickly, which speeds up the modelling process.

• Although the varnish is gentle, we always recommend a compatibility test on critical areas (e.g. hand-painted details).
