The P-40E Warhawk was one of the most important American fighter aircraft in the early stages of World War II. The E version brought more powerful armament with six machine guns and improved armour. The Warhawks served in the air forces of the United States, Great Britain, the Soviet Union and other Alliedon all major fronts, from North Africa to the Pacific to the Eastern Front.
