P-40K Warhawk DUAL COMBO 1/48

The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk was one of the most widely used American fighter aircraft of World War II. Although not as powerful as later types, it became the backbone of Allied air power in critical phases of the conflict - from North Africa to the Pacific to China. The P-40K was one of the later production variants with the Allison V-1710-73 engine and distinctive short tail. It featured improved mid-altitude performance and was deployed in a variety of climates. The aircraft of this type served not only with the USAAF, but also with the British Royal Air Force and the South African Air Force, where it proved itself in the roles of fighter, fighter-bomber and reconnaissance aircraft.

The Eduard kit in the Royal Class edition is a premium kit designed for the discerning modeller who appreciates a high level of detail and a wealth of equipment. The package includes parts for two complete P-40Ks, allowing you to build a pair of machines in different markings or share the build with another modeler. There are 8 camouflage schemes covering machines from different units and battlefields - from RAF desert camouflage to USAAF olive green to SAAF variants. The decals and plastic parts are from Eduard, which guarantees quality printing and precision workmanship.

The kit comes with coloured etched parts that add fine detail to the cockpit, wings and other parts of the aircraft. Resin accessories include exhausts, two types of main landing gear wheels (allowing for more accurate representation of the different variants), seats with clamping straps and an antenna. A masking kit facilitates painting of transparent surfaces, and Omask plugs are used to cover landing gear ducts during spraying. A themed mouse pad is also included. Package does not include paint or adhesives needed for assembly.
