Special Hobby 1/48 Blackburn Skua Mk.II Silver Finish represents a British two-seat carrier-based light dive bomber and reconnaissance aircraft from World War II. The Skua Mk.II was powered by a Bristol Perseus XII engine and served with the Fleet Air Arm.

The first prototype took flight on February 9, 1937, and production of the Mk.II version began in August 1938. Skua aircraft saw action in the Norwegian campaign and the Dunkirk evacuation in 1940, among other operations. They were later gradually withdrawn from the front lines and were also used for training.
