Special Hobby’s Dornier Do 27 IDF/AF, SAAF, and Portuguese Service in 1/72 scale is a plastic model kit of a light, single-engine, multi-purpose STOL aircraft. The Do 27 served as a liaison, reconnaissance, and light transport aircraft and became the first German aircraft produced in large series after World War II.
Kit Contents
- four gray sprues with approximately 50 parts
- one clear sprue with seven parts
- one photo-etched sheet with nine parts
- a decal sheet
- Color assembly and camouflage instructions
Color Scheme
The decals feature four Israeli Air Force aircraft, one South African Air Force aircraft, and one Portuguese Air Force aircraft.
Before closing the fuselage, complete the interior and first dry-fit the transparent parts. Apply the photo-etched parts using a small amount of cyanoacrylate adhesive. Adhesive and paints are not included in the package.
