T'Au Empire: XV104 Riptide Battlesuit

The XV104 Riptide Battlesuit is one of the most formidable and feared battlesuits in the T’au Empire’s arsenal. This heavy battlesuit bridges the gap between the smaller Crisis-class battlesuits and the faction’s massive combat machines. The Riptide is powered by an experimental nova reactor, which allows it to switch between enhanced weapon output and reinforced shields, making it a versatile and deadly unit on the battlefield. Riptide pilots are amongst the most experienced warriors of the Fire caste and are entrusted with upholding the doctrine of the Greater Good in the most gruelling combat situations.

The model captures the characteristic features of T’au technology – clean aerodynamic lines, advanced armament and an imposing silhouette that dominates the battlefield. The kit contains 108 components and offers variable assembly options, including different suit poses and a choice of primary armament. The pack also includes two Shielded Missile Drones, which accompany the Riptide and provide it with additional fire support and protection. The included T’au decal sheet allows you to paint authentic faction markings and insignia onto the model.

The figure is designed in 1:56 scale, which is the standard for the Warhammer 40,000 game, and is an attractive addition for players of the T’au Empire army as well as for collectors. The model offers plenty of scope for detailed painting, including highlighting the armour, technological details, weapon systems and accompanying drones. The kit is supplied unpainted and requires assembly. The set does not include the paints or glue required for assembly.
