The Eduard Tales of Iwojima DUAL COMBO kit in 1/72 scale features a pair of American P-51D Mustang fighters that operated from the island of Iwo Jima in the final stages of World War II. The aircraft served with the 15th Fighter Group, 506th Fighter Group and 21st Fighter Group and participated in long-range escort missions over the Japanese islands.
The kit includes plastic parts to assemble two complete P-51D aircraft models, and includes color etched parts and masks to make the job of painting the cockpits easier. The decal sheet includes a total of 12 camouflage schemes for machines deployed in 1945. With high quality workmanship and a wealth of accessories, this limited edition is for the discerning modeler and collector of American military equipment.
