Tamiya 24029 Mercedes-Benz 500 SEC is a 1:24 scale plastic kit for assembly. This luxury two-door S-Class coupé from 1981 includes a fully detailed engine compartment. The removable bonnet reveals the five-litre V8, radiator, air cleaner and battery.
Underneath are front double-wishbone and rear semi-trailing-arm suspension, driveshaft and exhaust routing. Separate door panels and front-seat backs give the interior depth. Decals reproduce upholstery patterns for three colour schemes and the dashboard’s wood trim. Rubber tyres have moulded tread. Dimensions are 209 × 87 × 60 mm.
Paint and cement are not included.
