MR.Hobby AMMO MIG WY01 YAKUMO WWII Western Front Set is a new, simplified patination system, which is the result of the combination of many years of experience of Mr. Hobby's long experience in the production of model paints and chemistry with the revolutionary techniques of Miga Jiménez (AMMO).

Historical Context and Purpose of the Kit

This kit focuses on the climatic and geographical conditions of the Western Front from 1944-1945, where German equipment fought on dirt roads, in muddy areas, and over varied European terrain.

• Focus: The kit is specifically mixed to simulate summer dust, dry mud and dirt on vehicles carryingthree-colour camouflage (Dunkelgelb, Olivgrün, Rotbraun) which were standard on the Western Front.

• Techniques: The YAKUMO system was designed so that even beginners could achieve highly realistic results with just a few steps. washing, streaking and pigmentation (dust deposits).

🧪 Kit Contents and Product Characteristics

The kit contains four carefully selected products needed for comprehensive patination:

1. DARK WASH (Enamel): a dark enamel wash to highlight panel lines, details and depressions, adds depth to the base camouflage.

2. DARK STREAKING GRIME (Enamel).

3. DRY MUD (Enamel): Enamel paint (mud) to create the dried, lighter mud effect typical of the dry summer and autumn months.

4. EUROPE DUST (Pigment): Fine pigment to mimic the settled dust and dirt that accumulates on horizontal surfaces and undercarriage.

• Compatibility: Yakumo enamel washes and pigments can be diluted and cleaned with solvent-based thinners (e.g. Mr. Weathering Solvent, White Spirit/Enamel Solvent) for a controlled job.

The package contains:
