This 1/32 ASK sheet provides K9955 of F/O Archibald McKellar, No. 602 Squadron (RAF Drem, Scotland, March 1940), L1004 of F/Lt Alexander "Sandy" Johnstone of the same squadron (Drem, May 1940) and K9953 "ZP-A" of F/Lt Adolph "Sailor" Malan, No. 74 Squadron (RAF Hornchurch, June/July 1940). All wear the brown and green camouflage of the early war period.

South African Adolph "Sailor" Malan was one of the best-known fighter pilots of the Battle of Britain and became famous for his rules of air fighting. Archibald McKellar later commanded No. 605 Squadron and was killed in November 1940. The 1/32 Spitfire Mk.I plastic kit is sold separately.

If necessary, the decal carrier varnish can be removed by washing it off with Zippo lighter fluid.
