1/35 French FT T.S.F. Radio Version

The Renault FT is considered the pioneer of the modern tank concept - with a swivel turret, engine in the rear and a separate driver's seat. This light tank had a major influence on the development of armoured vehicles after the First World War. In addition to the combat versions, several specialised variants were also produced, including the T.S.F. (Télégraphie Sans Fil), equipped with a radio instead of armament. These tanks were deployed as liaison and command machines, providing communication between advancing troops and their commandm - an essential element for the coordination of operations in the dynamic phases of the fighting of 1917-1918 and in the interwar period.
