Hobby Boss 1/72 P-51B Mustang is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The P-51B has a raised rear fuselage behind its original framed canopy, giving it a different appearance from the later P-51D. Decals offer two USAAF aircraft: Henry Brown’s WR-Z Hun Hunter Texas and Don Gentile’s VF-T Shangri-La.
The simplified breakdown combines the main fuselage and wing sections with parts on three sprues. A metal shaft for the four-blade propeller, clear canopy and extended undercarriage are provided. External tanks fit beneath the wings. Finished wingspan is approximately 157.5 mm. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
