1/16 M4A1(76)W Medium Tank

The M4A1(76)W Sherman was one of the most important versions of the famous American M4 tank, which formed the backbone of the armored forces of the United States and its allies during World War II. The M4A1 version featured a die-cast hull and a new 76mm M1A1 gun, which provided greater penetration against the German Panther and Tiger tanks. The "W" designation stood for "wet stowage" - that is, the safer storage of ammunition in water-cooled tanks, which greatly improved the crew's chances of being hit.

The tank was powered by a nine-cylinder Continental R975 400 hp radial engine, which gave it good agility and reliability in the field.
