    Detailed plastic kit of British light armoured personnel carrier Universal Carrier Mk.I in 1/16 scale by Gecko Models. This legendary tracked multi-purpose troop carrier, developed from the Bren Gun Carrier, was used during the second World War II, it was used extensively by the Allied armies to transport troops, materiel or tow light guns.

    The Universal Carrier was built in 1940 and by 1960 more than 85,000 were produced in various versions and modifications. It was also used by the Soviet Army, which received part of the production under the Lend-Lease programme.

    The kit features moving tracks, photo-etched parts and decals. Neither the engine nor the figures are included. The kit is intended for more experienced modelers. The kit does not contain glue or paint.
