1/200 Mikasa 1905
I Love Kits 1/200 Mikasa 1905 is a plastic kit of a Japanese battleship. The large 1/200 scale depicts Admiral Tōgō's flagship as she appeared in 1905. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Mikasa was a pre-dreadnought battleship built in Britain for the Imperial Japanese Navy. As the flagship of Admiral Heihachirō Tōgō she became famous in the Russo-Japanese War, above all at the Battle of Tsushima in 1905. Today she is preserved as a museum ship in Yokosuka.
The kit depicts the ship as she appeared in 1905, with a hull split into two halves. The decals include Japanese naval flags. The 1/200 scale leaves room for detail on the superstructure, gun turrets and masts, making the finished model an impressive display piece. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: Japan. Period: Before 1914.
