I Love Kit 1/200 USS Donald Cook DDG-75 depicts a US Navy guided-missile destroyer of the Arleigh Burke class in its Flight II form. The ship is named after Colonel Donald Cook, a Marine Corps Medal of Honor recipient who died as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. Flight II ships did not yet have helicopter hangars; these arrived with Flight IIA.
According to the manufacturer the kit contains more than 1300 parts, and the finished model is about 77 cm long. An SH-60B Seahawk, photo-etched parts and a decal sheet with hull number 75, the ship name and flags are included. The 1/200 scale leaves plenty of room for superstructure, radar and deck detail, making it a good choice for modellers who want an impressive display model of a modern warship. Paints and glue are not included.
