I Love Kit 1/200 USS Pinckney DDG-91 is a plastic kit of an Arleigh Burke Flight IIA guided-missile destroyer. The kit has more than 1200 parts, an SH-60B helicopter and seven photo-etched frets. Paints and glue are not included.
USS Pinckney DDG-91 is an Arleigh Burke class destroyer of the Flight IIA standard, recognisable by the pair of helicopter hangars aft. The ship is named after William Pinckney, a Navy cook awarded the Navy Cross for rescuing a shipmate aboard the carrier Enterprise in 1942.
The manufacturer lists more than 1200 parts, a one-piece hull from slide moulds, a deck split into two parts and seven photo-etched frets for handrails and radar parts. An SH-60B helicopter and a display stand are included, and the finished model is about 78 cm long. The decal sheet carries hull number 91, the ship name and crests, so the model can be finished as a specific US Navy ship. Paints and glue are not included.
