1/32 Avro Lancaster B. Mk.III "Dambusters" w/ Full Interior - Border Model (ex Wingnut Wings)

The plastic model kit of the Avro Lancaster B Mk. III "Dambuster" by Border Model is a precise replica of the legendary World War II bomber in a 1/32 scale. Originally designed by Wingnut Wings, this model has been completed and produced by Border Model. It is a limited edition, restricted to 1000 units worldwide.

This model is notable for its complex interior and high level of detail. It includes highly detailed Packard V-1650-1 Merlin 28 engines, an internal canopy frame, dropped flaps, and removable main wings for easy presentation. The kit also features special parts for the Dambuster version, such as advanced clear parts and replicas of the fabric that covered the rear stabilizers during World War II. Additionally, the model offers optional elements like different types of rear and main wheels, H2s radar, the Dambuster bomb, and FN.20 or FN.120 turrets with the option to display internal mechanisms.

The kit contains over 800 parts, meticulously crafted and packaged. It is intended for advanced modelers, with the final model measuring approximately 66 cm in length and 97 cm in width with wings extended (66 cm x 28 cm without outer wings). The model comes unassembled and unpainted, allowing modelers to customize it according to their preferences.
