1/32 BAC Lightning F.1A/F3
Trumpeter 1/32 BAC Lightning F.1A/F.3 is a plastic kit of the British supersonic interceptor. Alternative fins allow an F.1A or F.3 to be built. Decals represent No. 56 and No. 111 Squadrons RAF. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.

Trumpeter 1/32 BAC Lightning F.1A/F.3 depicts the British interceptor developed to defend against bombers during the Cold War. The Lightning was designed for rapid climb and speeds beyond Mach 2. This release offers two versions whose external differences include the shape of the vertical fin.
Box 02280 contains 163 parts, 11 sprues, three tyres and instrument-panel film. Separate alternative fins provide a choice between F.1A and F.3. Markings include F.1A XM174 of No. 56 Squadron at RAF Wattisham in 1963 and F.3 XR711 of No. 111 Squadron. The completed aircraft is approximately 525 mm long. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
