1/32 Fiat CR.42 recommended for ICM

The Fiat CR.42 Falco was an Italian fighter biplane, one of the last fighter aircraft of this type to be deployed on a large scale during World War II. Although the era of biplanes was practically over by then and most countries were switching to more modern monoplanes, Italy with the CR.42 continued the tradition of a proven design that offered excellent maneuverability and ease of maintenance. The machine was deployed on various battlefields - from the Mediterranean to North Africa to the Eastern Front - and served not only in Italian colours but also with Allied or occupied forces. For modellers, the CR.42 is interesting because of its elegant lines, its characteristic two-plane layout and the variety of colour schemes according to period and unit.

The 1:32 scale ICM kit offers a large format suitable for detailed work, with the cockpit being one of the most visible parts of the finished model. The plastic parts of the instrument panel usually lack the subtlety and depth of real dials, which can detract from the overall impression of an otherwise well-executed interior. The add-on is designed specifically for the ICM Fiat CR.42 kits in UA (Ukraine) and UK (United Kingdom) versions, meaning versions depicting machines used by Ukrainian or British units.
