2918 1 32 hawker hurricane mk i mk iic part 12 royal air force

This 1/32 ASK sheet contains Hurricane Mk.I V7101 of No. 69 Squadron at Luqa, Malta (1941), flown according to the sheet by Flt Lt George Burges, Hurricane Mk.IIc BD939 "ZY-S" of No. 247 Squadron in an experimental Nivo finish, and Hurricane Mk.I P2992 "P" of No. 527 Squadron (1943), used for radar trials.

No. 527 Squadron was formed in 1943 to calibrate radar stations, and the Hurricane was among its first aircraft. The sheet thus shows a lesser-known side of Hurricane service away from front-line fighter units. The 1/32 plastic kit is sold separately.

If necessary, the decal carrier varnish can be removed by washing it off with Zippo lighter fluid.
