Hobby Boss 1/32 Spitfire Mk.Vb/Trop is a plastic kit of an aircraft for assembly. The box offers Aboukir and Vokes tropical filters plus standard and clipped wingtips. Decals include AB502/IR-G and BR195/AN-T. The latter, of 417 Squadron RCAF, was historically a Mk.Vc, so an accurate rendition requires conversion of this Mk.Vb kit’s wing.
The Merlin engine is accompanied by accessories, cockpit detail and wing guns with separate bay covers. The flaps offer alternative assembly positions. Clear glazing, two vinyl tyres and an etched fret with harnesses and interior details are included. Paints and glue required for assembly are not included.
Nationality: United Kingdom and Canada. Period: World War II.
