Dragon's Teeth anti-tank obstacles were concrete blocks designed to stop or slow the advance of enemy tanks and armoured vehicles. They were installed on a large scale in Europe, North Africa and on the Eastern Front, where they protected key strategic points and fortified lines such as the Atlantic Wall, the Maginot Line and the Siegfried Line.
These obstacles were deployed in long lines and were often supplemented by minefields, barbed wire barricades and artillery emplacements, greatly complicating the movement of enemy troops.
