1/35 AEC Mk 1 Armoured Car
The 1/35 AEC Mk 1 Armoured Car is a British armoured vehicle from the beginning of World War II, deployed in North Africa and Europe. This detailed kit depicts an early version of the car with realistic turret and chassis details. Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The AEC Mk I was the first version of the armoured car produced by the Associated Equipment Company for the British Army. Its development began in 1941 and the first units were deployed in 1942 during the North African campaign. The design combined heavy armour with armament comparable to a light tank, making it a very capable reconnaissance and support vehicle.
Miniart's 1/35 scale model shows an early Mk I variant with a typical swivel turret and chassis based on the AEC civilian trucks.
