The Austro-Hungarian WWI 24 cm Mörser M.98 is a 1/35-scale resin model kit of military equipment from CMK.
A fully cast model of an Austro-Hungarian World War I mortar. The model master was created using 3D modeling. The model is highly detailed, just like the other World War I weapon models we have produced. The M.98 mortar was the first modern Škoda mortar adopted by the Austro-Hungarian Army and also the first to be transported by motorized vehicles. It was a high-quality weapon, but its use was limited by unsuitable ammunition, which resulted in a relatively short range. At the start of World War I, the Austro-Hungarian Army had 12 batteries, each with 4 mortars; in 1917, there were still 30 mortars, but a year later, only two batteries remained.
