The BM-8-24 was one of the lesser-known but effective versions of the Soviet rocket launchers of World War II. It was built on a T-60 light tank chassis and carried a launcher for 24 82 mm rockets. This machine combined the mobility of a tank with the devastating firepower of a rocket launcher and was deployed to provide fire support to infantry during breakthroughs and assault operations.
