The Boeing CH-47 Chinook is a twin-propeller transport helicopter that has served the U.S. Army and other armed forces around the world for more than sixty years. The Aires 1/35 CH-47 Chinook wipers add-on set is designed for detailed upgrades to 1:35 scale plastic Chinook models, specifically for replacing the windshield wipers. Basic plastic kits often show wipers simplistically - either as part of transparent parts or as flat plastic elements without fine structure and precise shape. Aires' resin kit delivers wipers molded with higher precision, includethinner arms, more realistic rail shapes, and sometimes separate details such as springs or hinge points. This adds authenticity to the model, especially when the cab is shown with the windows open or the model is photographed from a side or front angle where the wipers are clearly visible.

Working with resin accessories requires some experience: the parts need to be carefully cut off the casting block, sanding the casting channels and residual material with fine sandpaper.or a file, and then glue them with instant adhesive (cyanoacrylate) or two-component epoxy, which are suitable for bonding resin to plastic. Resin parts are not usually bonded with conventional plastic adhesive. Prior to assembly, it is advisable to wash the parts in warm water with a drop of detergent to remove any separator residue from the mould that may prevent the paint or adhesive from adhering. After drying, the scrapers can be painted with acrylic, enamel or varnish depending on the modeler's preference - typically in a dark greyed, black or metallic grey to match the actual wiper mechanisms.
