The French Schneider 155mm C17S howitzer was introduced into service during World War I and quickly gained respect for its mobility and range. After the war it was exported and modified for use in the armies of France, the United States, Spain, Germany and other countries. During the Second World War, some of the captured pieces also appeared in the service of the Wehrmacht.
The 1/35 scale kit from Das Werk offers detailed plastic parts, realistic construction of the receiver and barrel, and the ability to be assembled in several variations depending on the user (including differences between users such as the USA and Germany). The kit also includes decals for different armies, allowing the model to be rendered in various historical guises.
