The 1/35th scale model of the German 3t 3,6-36S Radkasten-Normal-Type truck is a variant with wheel-covering fenders, designed for transporting soldiers during WWII. The kit faithfully captures the detailed cab, hull and chassis typical of military deployment. Package does not include paint or glue needed for assembly.
The 3.6-36S three-ton truck was widely used by the Wehrmacht during World War II for both supply and troop transport. The Radkasten-Normal-Type version differed from the regular version by having full-coverage fenders, which provided better protection for the wheels and crew from mud and damage during off-road and on-road movements. The vehicle was deployed on all fronts and was an indispensable logistical element of the German Army.
The kit features a realistically rendered variant with a transport hull for the men, a detailed engine compartment, cabin interior, fully detailed chassis and small details such as boxes, tools and lights. The accurate workmanship and historical fidelity make the model suitable for both stand-alone display and as part of dioramas from both the Eastern and Western Fronts.
