The Panzer IV/70(A) was a transitional tank destroyer manufactured by Alkett, which combined the Panzer IV chassis with a high superstructure and a long 7.5 cm Pak 42 L/70 gun. The Last variant depicts a late production version.
The metal barrel helps maintain a precise circular cross-section and a clean finish on the gun. Photo-etched parts are used for fine grilles and other thin details that would appear too bulky if made of plastic.
