1/35 Jagdpanzer IV L48 - Border Model

The Jagdpanzer IV L/48 was a German World War II tank fighter based on the Panzer IV chassis. The development of this machine was in response to the need for an armoured vehicle with a lower profile and stronger frontal protection that could effectively counter Allied tanks. The armament consisted of the 7.5 cm PaK 39 L/48 gun, which was effective against most armoured vehicles of the time, making the machine a dangerous adversary on the battlefield.

The Jagdpanzer IV was deployed from 1944 on both the Eastern and Western fronts. Thanks to its low silhouette and powerful armament, it proved particularly effective in defensive operations, where it was able to destroy enemy tanks and armoured vehicles from ambush. Although it had limited mobility due to its weight and weaker mobility compared to lighter tank fighters, it became an important part of the Wehrmacht's armament.
